It offers mentorship, feedback from the international research community, and opportunities to publish archival or non-archival papers, with presentations at the main ACL 2026 conference in San Diego.

Policies worth checking twice
- Submissions must be double-blind anonymized; author identities and affiliations must not be revealed.
- Papers must not have been published or accepted in another refereed, archival venue; preliminary versions on non-archival venues (e.g., arXiv, course reports) are allowed.
- Authors must disclose if the paper is under review or submitted elsewhere; if accepted at SRW, it must be withdrawn from other venues.
- Authors may submit only one paper per track (SRW, Research, Industry, Demos); dual submissions across tracks will be rejected.
- Author lists cannot be changed after the abstract submission deadline.
- Archival papers are published in the ACL 2026 SRW Proceedings; non-archival papers are presented but not published and cannot be resubmitted to another SRW.
- Non-archival papers cannot be changed to archival after acceptance.
- All submissions must use official ACL style templates (LaTeX or Word) and be in PDF format.
