The ACL Student Research Workshop (SRW) 2026 is a forum for students at all academic levels — including high school, undergraduate, MSc/MA, and PhD — to present research in Computational Linguistics, Natural Language Processing, and Machine Learning. It offers mentorship, feedback from the international research community, and opportunities to publish archival or non-archival papers, with presentations at the workshop held in conjunction with ACL 2026 in San Diego.

Policies worth checking twice
- Submissions must be double-blind; authors must anonymize their papers and avoid self-references that reveal identity.
- Papers must not have been published or accepted in another refereed, archival venue; preliminary versions on arXiv or non-archival workshops are allowed.
- Authors must disclose if a paper is under review elsewhere and withdraw it from other venues if accepted by SRW.
- Authors may submit only one paper per track (SRW, Research, Industry, Demos); dual submissions across tracks will be rejected.
- Author lists cannot be changed after the abstract submission deadline.
- Archival papers are published in the ACL 2026 SRW Proceedings; non-archival papers are presented but not published and cannot be submitted to another SRW.
- Non-archival papers cannot be changed to archival after acceptance.
- First authors of accepted papers must provide proof of student status at camera-ready stage.
