AffectiveArt Challenge at ACM Multimedia 2026
The AffectiveArt Challenge 2026, part of ACM Multimedia 2026, invites participants to advance affective intelligence in artistic images by addressing fine-grained emotion understanding and generation. It focuses on bridging the gap between semantic correctness and affective coherence in AI-generated art using a large-scale dataset of 132,664 artworks with hierarchical emotional annotations.

- Submissions must be made using the officially registered team name on Codabench.
- Teams must complete identity verification and submit required materials for Reproducibility Verification to be eligible for certificates.
- Test set is distributed only via email to registered teams.
- Failure to complete verification by the deadline results in invalidation of results.
- Registration must be completed via the official website; registrations during a technical outage (April 23–May 2, 2026) require re-registration.
