AI and the Self is a NeurIPS 2026 workshop exploring how AI systems mediate human identity, agency, self-understanding, dependence, and flourishing. It brings together technical, empirical, socio-cultural, and philosophical research to examine AI's role in shaping self-concept, learning, authorship, and ethical dimensions of human-AI interaction.
