APSys 2026 is the 17th ACM SIGOPS Asia-Pacific Workshop on Systems, serving as a forum for researchers and practitioners to present innovative ideas in systems research, with a focus on the Asia-Pacific region and beyond. The workshop will be held in Bangkok, Thailand, on September 17-18, 2026, and welcomes submissions on a broad range of systems topics, including operating systems, cloud and edge computing, security, machine learning systems, and more.

Contribution paths

A strong submission should clearly identify its contribution and evaluate it appropriately.

Full Papers

Submissions must be five pages or fewer excluding references, formatted in ACM two-column conference style with 10-point font. Papers may present preliminary results, new research directions, retrospectives, or provocative viewpoints. Accepted papers appear in the ACM Digital Library.

Camera-Ready Papers

Final versions of accepted papers must fit within a six-page limit (references and appendices unlimited). Must include ACM metadata, rights information, and disclose AI use relevant to conclusions. Must use ACM sigconf template without nonacm option.

Posters

Poster submissions have separate deadlines: abstract due August 4, 2026 (AoE), with notification and camera-ready due by August 18 and August 20, 2026, respectively.

Policies worth checking twice

Submissions must be double-blind: no author names or affiliations allowed.
Submissions must not have substantially similar work under review elsewhere.
Papers must be five pages or fewer (excluding references) for initial submission.
Camera-ready papers must be six pages or fewer (excluding references and appendices).
Authors must use the official ACM sigconf LaTeX template with 10-point font and scalable Type 1 fonts.
Authors must disclose any use of AI tools directly relevant to research conclusions (e.g., coding, data analysis, artifact generation) in the methods section; disclosure counts toward the six-page limit.
No disclosure is required for AI use only in writing or grammar assistance.
Papers produced entirely or substantially by generative AI are prohibited.
