The D-TUR 2026 workshop, held in conjunction with HRI '26 in Edinburgh, UK, brings together researchers to advance the design, perception, and evaluation of transparency and understandability in human-robot interaction. It fosters interdisciplinary dialogue across robotics, cognitive science, explainable AI, and human-computer interaction to create robots that intuitively communicate intent, uncertainty, and reasoning to diverse users.
A strong submission should clearly identify its contribution and evaluate it appropriately.
Short papers
Up to 6 pages (excluding references), presenting original, ongoing, or position work on transparency, understandability, and explainability in human-robot interaction, including theoretical frameworks, experimental studies, design case studies, and applications.
