The EIAI 2027 workshop explores how AI systems contribute to epistemic injustices, such as testimonial and hermeneutical injustice, as defined by Miranda Fricker, and examines their impact on individuals' status as knowers and knowledge practices. It brings together scholars to critically discuss theoretical and practical approaches to identifying, understanding, and ameliorating these injustices in domains like medicine, education, law, and communication.
