Foundations of Agentic Systems Theory
The FAST 2026 workshop, held in conjunction with NeurIPS 2026 in Paris, explores the foundational theory of agentic AI systems by examining emergent behaviors and system-level dynamics in populations of LLM-based agents. It encourages interdisciplinary contributions from fields such as complex systems, cognitive science, and organizational sociology to better understand the mechanisms, risks, and controllability of agentic systems beyond traditional AI approaches.
