Contribution paths

A strong submission should clearly identify its contribution and evaluate it appropriately.

Short Papers

4 pages + 1 page for references; present original and highly promising research or applications, assessed on originality, importance, and technical quality rather than scope or maturity.

Long Papers

8 pages + references; present original reports of substantive new research techniques, findings, and applications, with sufficient detail for scrutiny and reproducibility, and clear discussion of implications.

Policies worth checking twice

  • Submitted papers must not be under review elsewhere.
  • Both long and short papers undergo the same review process.
  • Rejected long papers will not be considered for acceptance as short papers, except in rare cases with unanimous reviewer recommendation.
  • All authors must be listed during initial submission; the author list is finalized by the abstract submission deadline.
  • Authors’ order may be modified by the full paper submission deadline.
  • Abstract and title may be updated until the full paper submission deadline, but the core content and topic must remain consistent.
  • Accepted papers must be presented in person at the conference; papers not presented will not be published in IEEE Xplore.
  • Supplementary materials are optional and must be submitted by the same deadline as the paper.
