Policies worth checking twice

  • All direct submissions must be anonymized following ACL guidelines: no author names, affiliations, acknowledgements, institutional logos, or identifiable URLs.
  • Papers must not be under review at another archival venue at submission time; concurrent submissions to other workshops, conferences, or journals must be disclosed.
  • arXiv pre-prints are permitted as long as the submission remains anonymous.
  • ARR-committed papers must have a finalized ARR meta-review at the time of commitment and must declare any other concurrent commitments.
  • Supplementary material (appendices, code, datasets) may be included in the appendix or linked via anonymous repositories; reviewers are not required to consult it.
  • Accepted papers are archival by default and published in the ACL Anthology; authors may opt out of proceedings (non-archival).
  • No author rebuttal period for direct submissions.
  • At least one author of each accepted paper must register and present in person; remote presentation is not guaranteed.
