A strong submission should clearly identify its contribution and evaluate it appropriately.

Full Papers

Original, mature research contributions (6 pages; up to 2 additional pages with extra charges). Submitted papers undergo single-blind peer review, are published in IEEE Xplore, and may be presented as oral or poster presentations. Authors may optionally enter the BabyBot Challenge or BabyObserve Challenge.

Late-Breaking Results

Early-stage or preliminary research (1–2 pages). Submissions are reviewed by Program Chairs, accepted for poster presentation only, and are not included in IEEE Xplore proceedings.

Journal Presentation

Submissions of journal articles published between April 2025 and March 2026 on ICDL-relevant topics. Authors provide title, abstract, reference, publication URL, and relevance statement. Accepted presentations are poster-only and not included in IEEE Xplore proceedings.

Policies worth checking twice

  • Each individual may appear as the first author on no more than two full paper submissions.
  • Full paper submissions must present original work not previously published and not under review elsewhere; dual submission is strictly prohibited.
  • All listed authors must be real individuals who have legitimately contributed to the work; fictitious or fraudulent authors are prohibited.
  • Use of AI tools must be responsible and clearly disclosed; malicious, deceptive, or undisclosed use of AI-generated content is prohibited.
  • All authors submitting full papers must have their own OpenReview account.
  • By submitting a full paper, authors with PhD-level expertise are expected to serve as reviewers, typically reviewing approximately two submissions.
  • At least one author per accepted full paper must register for the conference and pay the registration fee by the camera-ready deadline.
  • Accepted full papers must be submitted in IEEE RAS double-column format as a PDF, with optional supplementary video (MP4, ≤100 MB).
