Full papers (20 pages incl. references) are divided into two categories: Technical Papers (describing original research) and Experience Reports (presenting practical industry projects and lessons learned). Both are peer-reviewed and published in the conference proceedings.

Short Papers

Short papers (11 pages incl. references) describe early-stage, ongoing, or PhD research. All are peer-reviewed and published in the conference proceedings, and must be labeled 'Short Paper' in the title.

Policies worth checking twice

  • Submissions must not have been published or be concurrently considered for publication elsewhere.
  • All submissions undergo a single-blind peer-review process by at least three experts.
  • Manuscripts must be in English and formatted according to Springer LNCS guidelines.
  • Submissions must be in PDF format.
  • Submissions not adhering to format and length requirements may be rejected immediately without review.
  • Accepted papers may be invited to submit extended versions to the ACM journal Formal Aspects of Computing (FAC), with at least 30% new content and rigorous additional review.
