Policies worth checking twice
- ACM ICMR follows a double-blind review process: authors must anonymize papers by removing names, avoiding phrases like 'our previous work', removing identifying information in acknowledgments, and avoiding links to identifying websites.
- All authors must commit to serve as reviewers when invited by the Technical Program Committee (TPC) Chairs, with exceptions granted only for truly exceptional circumstances approved in advance.
- Papers must not have substantial overlap with prior publications or other work currently undergoing peer review anywhere.
- Documents published on arXiv or similar non-peer-reviewed archives are not considered publications, but citing them is discouraged; review is based solely on the formally submitted paper.
- Long research papers must not exceed 8 pages plus 2 pages for references; short research papers must not exceed 4 pages plus 2 pages for references; no appendices or supplementary materials are allowed.
- All papers must be formatted according to ACM proceedings style using the specified LaTeX template with \documentclass[sigconf,review,anonymous]{acmart}.
