IMPACT: Impact-aware Multimodal Persuasive Analysis and Contextual Trust
IMPACT 2026 is a workshop co-located with ACM Multimedia 2026 that focuses on multimedia-native, persuasion-optimized misinformation. It brings together researchers in multimedia forensics, multimodal reasoning, provenance, trust, and human-centered verification to address the growing threat of strategically manipulated media that distorts belief and causes real-world harm.

- Submissions are single-blind and reviewed by at least two program committee members.
- Papers may be up to 6-8 pages with up to 2 additional pages for references.
- Submissions must follow the official ACM Multimedia 2026 format.
- High-quality papers rejected from the ACM Multimedia 2026 main track may be resubmitted to IMPACT with original reviews and a revision statement.
- All accepted contributions must be presented in person at the on-site ACM Multimedia 2026 event; remote presentations are not allowed.
- Papers not presented on-site will be removed from the proceedings.
- Authors are encouraged to submit code, model cards, and evaluation artifacts to support reproducibility.
