- JSys is diamond open access: free to read and free to publish.
- Papers have no page limit, but authors are encouraged to be concise, with a compelling case expected within the first 12–14 pages.
- Submission is double-blind: authors must anonymize their submissions and avoid identifying themselves or their institution.
- Artifact evaluation is mandatory for Solution and Tools/Benchmark papers and proceeds in parallel with paper review.
- Reviews are publicly available and linked to published papers; reviewers are named alongside papers.
- Authors receive a one-shot revision opportunity with a clear list of required changes; acceptance is guaranteed upon satisfactory revision.
- Papers must be submitted via OpenReview and are publicly viewable upon submission, so authors requiring secrecy should avoid submission.
- Authors may submit to arXiv, but the title and system name must differ from the JSys submission to preserve double-blindness.
