Papers describing fully functional, open-source interactive search systems from previous LSC competitions, with emphasis on practical reuse and reproducibility.

Policies worth checking twice

  • Submissions must not exceed 6 ACM pages (with one additional page for references).
  • All submissions undergo a single-blind peer review process.
  • Accepted papers will be published in the ACM Digital Library as part of the ICMR conference proceedings.
  • Presentation of accepted papers is required in both oral and poster sessions.
  • Submissions must be in English and formatted according to ACM proceedings style.
  • Submission format must be PDF (max 20MB).
  • Authors may submit an enhanced version for a special journal issue in late 2026.
  • For the Search System Track, screen recording during the live competition is not permitted.
