Policies worth checking twice

  • Author Mentorship requires mentees to have an existing paper idea and intend to submit to ML4H 2026.
  • Mentees in the Author Mentorship program must submit their paper by the September 10, 2026 deadline.
  • Mentors in the Author Mentorship program are not required to be listed as authors, and authorship decisions are left to the mentee and their PI.
  • Reviewer Mentorship requires mentees to submit reviews via OpenReview by the official deadline and to incorporate mentor feedback.
  • All participants in mentorship programs must abide by the ML4H Code of Conduct.
  • Reviewer mentors are expected to provide feedback on review quality, not act as additional reviewers.
  • Career Mentorship requires attendance of a group workshop and at least one 1:1 mentoring session.
