Submissions can be 6 to 8 pages plus up to two additional pages for references. There is no distinction between long and short papers; authors may choose the appropriate length. All papers undergo the same review process.

ACM MMSports 2026 is the 9th International Workshop on Multimedia Content Analysis in Sports, held in conjunction with ACM Multimedia 2026 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It brings together researchers and practitioners to share innovations in multimodal analysis of sports data, including computer vision, sensor technologies, and machine learning applications for athlete tracking, performance assessment, injury analysis, and sports-specific datasets.

- The official publication date affects patent filing deadlines
