Regular papers

20 pages in single-column format (references excluded from page limit); may include an unrestricted appendix for technical justification; to be published in a special Performance Evaluation (PEVA) issue and as an extended abstract in ACM PER.

Short papers

5 pages in PER double-column format (references excluded from page limit); may include an unrestricted appendix for technical justification; accepted papers will be published in a special ACM Performance Evaluation Review (PER) issue.

  • All submissions must be original and unpublished.
  • Simultaneous submissions to other conferences or journals are not allowed.
  • Submissions must follow a double-blind review process: authors' identities must be anonymized, including removal of names, affiliations, identifying acknowledgments, and avoiding self-referential language.
  • File names must not include author names or institutions.
  • Pre-submission posting on arXiv is allowed far before submission deadlines.
  • Authors must maintain the same author list between submission and camera-ready stages unless notified otherwise.
  • Papers must have substantive titles and abstracts.
  • Papers using user data must comply with ethical research principles: beneficence, minimal risk, voluntary consent, privacy, and limited deception, as per the Menlo Report or Allman/Paxson IMC '07.
