QRS 2025 is the 25th anniversary IEEE International Conference on Software Security and Reliability, returning to Hangzhou, China, where the first conference was held in 2000. It brings together researchers and practitioners from academia and industry to present and discuss innovative work on software quality, reliability, and security, with a focus on emerging areas such as AI-driven techniques, intelligent systems, and trustworthy software engineering.

A strong submission should clearly identify its contribution and evaluate it appropriately.

Regular Papers

Original manuscripts with a maximum of 12 pages, not published or considered elsewhere. Accepted papers are published in the QRS 2025 Proceedings.

Short Papers

Original manuscripts with a maximum of 10 pages, reporting novel ideas and results not fully evaluated. Accepted papers are published in the QRS 2025 Proceedings.

Industry Track

Submissions of up to 2 pages describing industrial practices or experiences. Accepted papers are published in the QRS 2025 Companion.

Fast Abstracts

Original manuscripts of up to 2 pages reporting ongoing work, practical experiences, or positions on controversial issues. Accepted papers are published in the QRS 2025 Companion.

Posters

Authors submit up to 10 PowerPoint slides (.pptx) to present recent work. A written summary of up to 2 pages may also be submitted and included in the QRS 2025 Companion.

Workshop Papers

Original manuscripts with a maximum of 10 pages. Accepted papers are published in the QRS 2025 Companion.

Student Doctoral Program Papers

Original papers of up to 8 pages, with the first author being a student. Accepted papers must be presented by a student.

Journal First Papers

Papers previously published in journals, submitted for presentation at the conference.

  • Submissions must conform to the QRS conference proceedings format (PDF, Word DOCX, or LaTeX).
  • Submissions that do not comply with format guidelines will be rejected without review.
  • Each paper can have at most 5 authors.
  • Each author can have at most 3 accepted papers in the proceedings.
  • Papers must be original and not published or under consideration elsewhere.
  • Simultaneous submissions to other conferences are not permitted.
  • Each submission is reviewed by at least three Program Committee members.
