Original research papers describing work in usable privacy and security, including field studies, usability evaluations, and foundational research. Must address human aspects of security or privacy and be anonymized. Page limit: 12 pages excluding acknowledgments, bibliography, and appendices.
Systematization of Knowledge (SoK) Papers
Papers that integrate and systematize existing knowledge to provide new insight into a previously studied area. Must be prefixed with 'SoK:' and follow the same standards as technical papers.
Replication Papers
Well-executed studies that confirm, question, or clarify previously published findings. Must be prefixed with 'Replication:' and use current methodologies. Must clearly state motivation, methodological differences, and comparison with original results.
Posters
Presentations of ongoing or completed research, with a submission deadline of June 11, 2026, and acceptance notifications by June 18, 2026.
Lightning Talks
Short, 5-minute presentations on novel ideas, early results, or provocative topics. Submission deadline: May 28, 2026, with notifications by June 8, 2026.
Workshop Papers
Short papers (2-4 pages) submitted to accepted workshops, with deadlines aligned with workshop schedules (e.g., May 28, 2026, with notifications by June 11, 2026).
Workshops and Tutorials
Half- or full-day events focused on specific topics, including position papers, discussions, or hands-on activities. Organizers submit proposals, not individual papers, but may solicit workshop papers separately.
