Policies worth checking twice

  • Papers must be original and not under concurrent review at another journal or conference; preprints (e.g., arXiv) are allowed.
  • Poster submissions permit parallel submissions to other journals or conferences.
  • Submissions based on the same work must be made to only one track (paper or poster).
  • Authors of accepted papers may be invited for fast-track review at partner journals; if they submit to a partner journal, they must opt out of STAI-X proceedings publication.
  • Dual submission of the same work to both paper and poster tracks is prohibited.
  • At least one author must have tenure-track faculty equivalent experience to serve as a reviewer; exemptions require justification.
  • AI-assisted tools may be used to assist reviewers with structured feedback and reproducibility reports, but human judgment remains decisive.
  • All submission content is protected and will not be used to train AI models.
