Research Papers

Identify and justify a principled advance to the theoretical foundations for the construction and analysis of systems, supported by experimental validation where applicable. Artifact evaluation is strongly encouraged but not mandatory.

Case-Study Papers

Full-length case studies applying community-developed techniques to practical problems in real-world settings. Must describe the problem, modeling, techniques, results, and broader impact. Artifact evaluation is strongly encouraged but not mandatory.

Regular Tool Papers

Full-length papers describing a tool of broad interest or a new version built with novel algorithmic and engineering techniques. Must include problem description, related work, techniques, tool construction, unique features, usage, and benchmarking. Mandatory artifact evaluation required.

Tool-Demonstration Papers

Short papers advertising a tool or new version, focusing on its usage and interest to the community. No requirement for new features, algorithmic background, or thorough evaluation. Mandatory artifact evaluation required.

  • Authors must declare Conflict of Interest (COI) with PC members, including family/close friends, Ph.D. advisor/advisee (no time limit), postdoc/undergraduate mentor/mentee within past 5 years, same affiliation, involvement in harassment incidents, reviewer owing author a favor, or frequent/recent collaborator within last 5 years.
  • Falsely declared conflicts risk rejection without consideration of merit.
  • Authors are encouraged not to post submissions on arXiv or similar repositories 2 weeks before and after the submission deadline to avoid reviewer bias.
  • All tool papers (regular and demonstration) must undergo mandatory artifact evaluation.
  • Artifact evaluation is strongly encouraged for research and case-study papers, though not mandatory.
