A strong submission should clearly identify its contribution and evaluate it appropriately.

Regular Papers

Original, mature, and scientifically sound research up to 10 pages (plus 2 extra pages with fee). Must be fully documented and are eligible for Best Paper Awards and fast-track journal submission.

Work-in-Progress (WIP) Papers

Preliminary or late-breaking research results up to 4 pages (plus 1 extra page with fee). Must include 'WIP:' in the title and are presented in poster-style sessions.

Workshop Papers

Papers submitted to affiliated workshops, limited to 6 pages in IEEE two-column format, to be published in IEEE Xplore.

Demos

Demonstrations of systems or prototypes, limited to 3 pages, with titles starting with 'DEMO:'.

Posters

Poster presentations of research, limited to 3 pages, with titles starting with 'POSTER:'.

Ph.D. Forum Abstracts

Abstracts for Ph.D. students to present ongoing research, limited to 2 pages, with titles starting with 'Ph.D. Forum:'.

Policies worth checking twice

  • Double-blind review process: Authors must anonymize submissions and avoid self-identification in text or references.
  • Non-anonymous preprints (e.g., on arXiv) are permitted and will not lead to rejection.
  • Camera-ready papers must be formatted in two-column IEEE conference style with 10pt font or greater and A4 paper size.
  • Page limits are strictly enforced: Regular papers (10 pages + 2 extra), WIP papers (4 pages + 1 extra), Workshop papers (6 pages), Demos/Posters/Ph.D. Forum (3/3/2 pages).
  • Extra pages beyond limits incur a fee of €100 per page for regular and WIP papers.
  • All accepted papers must be presented at the conference by an author; failure to present may result in removal from IEEE Xplore.
  • One full registration is required per accepted paper; additional papers by the same first author may use student registration.
  • Camera-ready submissions must be uploaded via IEEE CPS, not EDAS, and must pass IEEE PDF eXpress certification.
