XAI4Science: Knowledge Discovery and Trust through Interpretable Foundation Models
XAI4Science 2026 is a NeurIPS workshop focused on advancing trustworthy AI through explainable methods for scientific foundation models, with a primary emphasis on weather and climate forecasting but welcoming applications in other scientific domains such as medicine, biology, finance, and energy. - Each submission must nominate at least one author to serve as a reviewer, following the NeurIPS 2026 reciprocal review rule.
- Accepted works are expected to be presented in person at the workshop.
- Remote presentations are permitted only in exceptional cases, with prior approval from organizers.
- Unlimited pages are allowed for references and appendices in the same PDF as the main paper.
- Submissions must use the NeurIPS 2026 LaTeX template.
